12). MONEY WORRIES ( © Lachlan McLeod )
This cross I have to bear,
This crown of thorns I wear,
Are the product of my mind, Perverted and refined,
I've got a World of money worries.
So off to work I go
And I brush away the snow
That has settled on my heart
As my years of life depart.
I've got a World of money worries.
An all I want is natural law,
Abundant wealth forevermore
But if I'm gonna reach my dreams
It seems my body's gotta scream
With this World of money worries.
So is it worth this life of pain
Spent in monetary gain?
Think I'll scamper up a tree
Go and dole it by the sea
And forget these money worries.
